We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Vault Cloud team and focus on developing the core subsystems for Vault Cloud. You will help design, prototype, and implement core features while ensuring the scalability and stability of Vault Cloud. This person will be a part of the Vault Cloud engineering team at HashiCorp, working to provide reliable and easy access to a fantastic and broadly used secrets tool for businesses and individuals handling all sizes and types of infrastructure. Data collection with our intelligent wireless low-power sensors, SmartTags, are at the heart of these solutions. Your work is directly linked to the hardware of these sensors and you know how to use embedded software to monitor their functionality and quality in the production process and thus ensure the quality of the delivered products. Your tasks include Drawing up functional and final test specifications;Implementation of functional hardware tests, often integrated into the product;Creating specific software modules for functional and final testing in production;Adjustment and fine-tuning of functional and end tests in case of product introductions or changes;Monitoring and thoroughly analyzing reasons for failure in functional and end tests of products in series production;Initiating and implementing improvement actions for the product and production resources;Early contribution in development regarding design choices of hardware and softwareClosely involved in validation and production of proto- and 0-series.
