About Navattic


At Navattic we’re building a platform to build interactive product demos. We’ve been building at the forefront of a new vertical (we’ve played a substantial role in creating) that is experiencing rapid growth.

We’re on a mission to enable all teams to achieve product-led growth. In the consumer world, it’s the expectation that you can try out services and software before buying. This is not the case in the B2B world and we’re on a mission to enable all teams to create “try before you buy” experiences, like our interactive Navattic demo.

Prior to starting Navattic, two of our co-founders, Neil & Randy, experienced the pain of sharing software demos as presales engineers at Oracle. Interactive demos are just the start, and we’re exceptionally motivated to bring product-led growth to all teams.

Since launching last year, we’ve been fortunate to work with 140+ companies including Ramp, Front, and Fivetran. As of late, we’ve been particularly busy. We’ve grown from 70 to 140 customers in the last 10 weeks! Customers love Navattic; we have a large library of amazing customer calls and quotes.

We are well-funded and backed by great investors, including Y Combinator, 645 Ventures and a variety of strategic angels.


As an early team member, you will help shape:

  • The direction of our product and our go-to-market strategy - What features should we build next? What tooling can we build to support further growth? Many questions in this vein are still yet to be answered.
  • Our company culture, practices, and processes - Maintaining a nimble, remote organization at scale is a hard problem we want to solve and we’d love your help. Many of our employees have influenced or made significant changes as we’ve grown.
  • We’re at an exciting point where a lot is working but the opportunity is immense and there's much more to build & shape.

The Position

Hi, I’m Chris, co-founder and CTO at Navattic. I’m excited about this role because it has many responsibilities I want as an engineer. As a senior software engineer, you’ll work on ambitious projects extending and supporting our platform’s capabilities across our tech stack.

Examples of what engineers at Navattic have worked on:

  • Developed a novel process for serializing and replaying web applications (the core of interactive product demos)
  • Built generalized support for serializing web applications across browsers and web technologies that “just works” (we pride ourselves on making this engineering accomplishment feel simple)
  • Made strides in improving the performance of downloading and uploading large amounts of resources quickly and efficiently
  • Extended our product offering to support interactive demos for desktop and mobile apps
  • Built out several custom no-code builders across our platform
  • Created the beginning of our engagement platform to surface the value we provide to our customers
  • We’ve been fortunate to experience impressive growth this past year - in 2022 alone, we’ve exceeded growth targets every quarter, grew to 400+ customers and partnered with top names in the software industry including Elastic, Digital Ocean, Dropbox and Mixpanel. We are well funded by top-tier investors such as Y Combinator, have a lean team, are cash flow profitable, and believe we are early on the product adoption curve.


Our engineering team is a pint-sized powerhouse that takes pride in tackling ambitious projects while making the hard things seem easy. We come from different backgrounds, but are united by a shared love for building software that people love to use.

For this role we are looking for an engineer with years of experience working on advanced projects in Typescript and React. We’re looking for examples of impressive projects you’ve worked on. We hope this engineer will join our team in aiming for and delivering work at an exceptional level of engineering craft.

Our Hiring Process

  1. 30-minute introduction call with Neil
  2. Chat with Chris, our CTO
  3. Project-based interview (you'll be compensated for your time)
  4. Call with other Navattic leadership team members
